Clynis Phillips

Born January 13, 1969, the son of Fred and the late WandaFunk Phillips. He grew up near Dante and graduated from Ervinton High School in 1987. Starting in the funeral service in the fall of 1987 in Nashville, TN., He later graduated from the Mid-America College of Funeral Service, PI SIGMA ETA with the National Morticians Fraternity, Jeffersonville, Indiana. He also completed the Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards of the United States, Inc. He received his funeral service license in 1991.
Clynis has been married to his wife Nancy since 1991, attends church at Flemingtown Freewill Baptist Church, is dedicated to the service of his community, and is a proud member of the Clintwood Volunteer Fire Department.
