Wilma Ann Lockhart, age 85 of Manassas, VA died on December 24, 2024 at UVA Health Haymarket Medical Center.

Wilma was born in Clintwood, VA on September 17, 1939, daughter of the late Thursa Dotson and Dale Carter Vanover. She enjoyed reading the Bible and doing Bible Crosswords Puzzles and seeing historic churches. She loved spending time with her family and taking care of them.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Stacy Lockhart and her siblings Cline Vanover, Kyle Vanover and Royce Vanover.

Survivors include her children Derick Scott Lockhart, Sherrie Elaine Lockhart-Smith, Terry Wayne (Mary Mbeng) Lockhart, and Cindy Elisa (John Michael) Tompkins. She is also survived by her grandchildren Dana Sue Hamil, Jason Carter Lockhart, Stacey Ann Jacques, Wendy Marie Jacques, Frazier Frank Wayne Smith, Nevaeh Stacey Ann Lockhart, Matthew John Tompkins and Joshua Scott Tompkins and by 12 great grandchildren,1 great great grandchild and by her siblings Lynn Vanover, Carolyn Knicely and Lee Vanover.

The family will receive friends at Pierce Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Funeral services will take place on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Clintwood-Colley Funeral Home in Clintwood, VA. Interment will then take place at the Lockhart Family Cemetery.
