Willie M. Davis, 87, died at the Bristol Regional Hospital on Friday, December 21, 2007. He was born in Dickenson County, VA the son of the late Tollie and Minnie McFall Davis. He was married to Dollie Louise (Fleming) Davis. His wife, a brother James Roy Davis, and a grandson, Bradley Keith Davis preceded him in Death. Mr. Davis was a Veteran of the US Army, WWII, and a retired saw mill worker at Hammer Lumber Company. Surviving are two sons, Donald Davis, Bristol, VA and Billy Ray Davis, Clintwood; daughter, Brenda Gail Fleming, Clintwood; two sisters, Jeanette Fleming, Clintwood and Anna Carol Boggs, Salem, VA; two grandchildren, six great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special little friend, Audreyanna Easterling. Funeral services for Willie M. Davis will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday from the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with ministers Franklin Hall, Manie Strouth, and Lester Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the McFall Cemetery, Clintwood, VA. The family will receive friends after 6:00 PM Sunday at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with services to follow at 7:00 PM. The Clintwood Honor Guard will conduct military graveside services. Pallbearers will be, Steve McCoy, Chris Fleming, Shannon Fleming, Charlie Perry, David Meade, Freddie Meade, and LaRue Fleming.
