William Ross Rasnick age 82, passed away Monday August 27 at the Norton Community Hospital. He was born the son of the late Bob and Lutishia Rasnake of Cleveland, Virginia. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army in the European Theatre. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was a lifetime member of the DAV chapter # 35 and the Clintwood Church of Christ. He retired from Pike Electrical Contractors. He is preceded in death by two brothers Delmer and Carl Rasnake along with two sisters Edith Earls and Agnes Rasnake. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Christine Rasnick, two daughters Lutishia Skeen and husband Mike of Clintwood, Pam Hamilton and husband Greg of Pound, Virginia, one brother Hobert Rasnake, Tombstone, Arizona and one sister Shirley Johnson, Cleveland, Virginia. Four Grandsons Jaimie and Jordan Skeen, Will and Wyatt Hamilton along with several nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
