Wade Lee Deloach. 65, passed away Friday, May 15, 2026, at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County, living most of his life in the Ghost Rocks area and later the Towneview Apartments. Wade was born deaf but learned how to adjust to everyday living and surviving the world around him without any formal education. He was a very handy man who could repair or build anything he needed. He had genuine warmth and sincere kindness. He also loved cats and holiday dinners.

Wade was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Norma Deloach and his sister, Gardenia Mullins.

Survivors include his cousins, Judy Steele, Ted Deloach, Sam Delaoch, Cathy Fleming and husband Sammy, Rick Deloach, and Mick Deloach, along with several cousins from Minnesota and Dickenson County.

The family held a private service  with interment in the Deloach Cemetery, Lake Road, Clintwood, Virginia.
