Virginia (Jeannie) Hill Meeker age 72, passed away peacefully at home after a short battle with cancer. Jennie was retired from Clintwood Garment Company and was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Meeker was preceded in death by her parents, Brad and Tanna Hill, one sister, Tiny Hill and her grandparents Sanders and Vinna Hill.

Survivors include cousins and caregivers, Royal Inis Salyer, Vicki Kennedy and husband Andy and Jeanette Sykes all of Clintwood; special friends and caregivers, Norma Stallard and husband Zane and Nancy Rose all of Clintwood and Kenny Stanley of McClure; a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until Noon Friday, February 10th in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services will follow with Norman Cumbo officiating. Burial will be at the Monroe Stanley Cemetery, Caney Ridge.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Monroe Stanley Cemetery, 723 Little Brushy Road, Coeburn, Virginia 24230.
