Veronica Ann Browning passed away April 8 at Holston Valley Hospital.  She was born November 1, 1958 at Park Avenue Hospital in Norton, Virginia to Bob and Judith Kilgore.  In 1960 she was legally adopted by her maternal grandparents, Adam and Anna Hill.

She is a graduate of Clintwood High School and an alum of CVC (UvaWise) and of Berea College in Kentucky.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Adam Hill and her grandmother, Anna Hill, also her adoptive parents; father-in-law Walter Browning and mother-in-law Doralina Browning.

She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Browning and her son, Willie; her mother, Judith Gonzalez; her aunts, Diana Artrip (Gary) and Sonja Harlow (Johnny); Wayne Browning brother-in-law; 5 half-siblings, and many cousins and great-cousins.

Veronica liked technology and worked her entire life with computers.  She was a cheerful and kind person and never complained or held a grudge.  She was a Christian of the Baptist faith and was baptized in the river when she was very young.

Her family was her priority and she spent her free time devoted to caring for them.

There will be a private family service and the family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and kind words.

She will be missed.
