Truman Phillips age 74, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019 at his home. He is the son of the late Leroy and Dollie Phillips.  A lifelong resident of Clintwood, he was a handy man for many and a friend to all who knew him. He was of the Christian Faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Doug Phillips and five sisters, Nellie Phillips, Rosella Phillips, Lora Bell Davis, Dussie McFall and Ruth Phillips.

Survivors include his brother Clinton Phillips and wife Geraldine of Clintwood: special niece and caregiver Veronica Ison and husband Cody; special nephew Anthony Phillips; special great nieces Cheyenne Vaughan and Kayla Phillips, along with other nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Truman Phillips will be conducted at 11 AM Wed. July 17, 2019 in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Gabe Johnson and Goble Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at the Phipps Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be friends and family. The family will receive friends from 10 AM till service time.
