Troy Ray Bolling age 90, passed away Tue. March 3, 2009 at the Norton Community Hospital. He was born Jan. 27, 1919 the son of the late Troy and Nola Davis Bolling. He was a former logger and worked in the coal industry. He was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Bolling, 2 brothers, 5 sisters, 2 sons Timmons Bolling and Troy Bolling, Jr. , 1 infant daughter, and a grandson Cameron Fleming. Survivors include; 2 sons, Danny Kyle Bolling and wife Mable of Clintwood, VA. , Wendell Bolling and wife Linda, Nora, VA. , 4 daughters; Nancy J. Hooper and Frank Welch, Moneta, VA., Joyce Johnston, Clintwood, VA, Elizabeth Matney and husband John, Dublin, VA and Deborah Bolling of Clintwood, VA. 13 grandchildren and 20 great-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
