Tony A. Garrett age 72 passed away Friday July 26, 2024 at this home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Haysi, Virginia the son of the late Ray Garrett and Artie Charles Ratliff.  Tony enjoyed time spent with family, fishing , bicycle riding and repair along with watching his favorite show Gunsmoke.

He is preceded in death by his parents along with several nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his brothers Roy Garret of London, KY., Louie Garrett, Haysi, VA., Michael Garrett and wife Tammy, Clinchco, VA. and Dennis Baker and wife Eugenia of Clintwood, VA. two sisters; Lois Edwards and husband Sam and Tempa Rasnick and husband Michael of Clinchco, VA. Several Nieces, Nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Tony A. Garrett will be conducted at 3 PM Sunday Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Rasnick officiating. Burial will follow at the Rasnick Family Cemetery Hale Mountain Road. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends from 2 PM till service time.
