Phillips
Jul 14, 1993 — Apr 27, 2025
Tara Jennell Shilieah Phillips, 31, of Coeburn, passed away unexpectedly on April 27th, 2025. Born on July 14, 1993, in Norton Virginia Tara was the daughter of Jackie Sr. and Tina Phillips/Glenn Castle. She graduated from Ervinton High School in 2012. Her kids were everything to her, and her love for them knew no bounds.
She is survived by her parents, Jackie Phillips Sr. of Dante, Tina Phillips and Glenn Castle of Castlewood, her sisters Kimberly Aja of Dante, Natasha and Chad DeBruyne of Ottawa Lake, Michigan, Santana and Ricky Powers of Knoxville, Tennessee, Whittany Phillips of Abingdon, Lindsay Phillips of Dante. As well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends. Special cousin Zack Hamblin as well as special friend Tony Sutherland. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Whetzel and Gaynell Phillips, John Hamblin, and Roy Lawson. Aunt Cindy Hamblin, Uncle Sam Phillips, as well as her special K9 companion Biggin.

Though her time with us was far too short, Tara's love will live on in the hearts of her children and all who knew her.
