Susan Lynn Montgomery age 68, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tennessee.  Mrs. Montgomery was the daughter of the late Goldie Kelly and a lifelong resident of Dickenson County. She loved reading and watching Days of Our Lives. Mrs. Montgomery was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mildred Montgomery.

Survivors include her son, Chris Montgomery of Abingdon, Virginia; daughters, Jennifer Johnson and Brian of Bristol, Tennessee, Angie Elliott and Bryan of Clintwood; grandchildren, Chale Taylor and Nathan, Kaitlin England, Dalton Montgomery, Anna Kear and Gabe, Matthew Stone and Dakota Stanley; five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 22 ^nd , 2 pm at Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Willie Stanley officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 pm. Burial will follow in the Colley Cemetery, The Lake Road, Clintwood. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  in lieu of flowers memorial gifts or contributions may be sent to the family.
