SUE C. ROSE July 26, 1936 - April 15, 2015 Sue Cruise Rose of Clintwood, Virginia, born on July 26, 1936, passed on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at her home on Caney Ridge surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ray Rose, her parents Curtis & Nell Kiser Cruise, sisters, Janice Nodine & Cathy Lafollette. Survivors include her five children:daughter Natalie Rose Phipps, husband Raymond; son Jason Rose, wife Delly; daughter Valerie Rose Mullins, husband Tony; son Russell Rose - all of Clintwood;daughter Beverly Rose Vanover, husband John of Bradenton, Florida. Five grandchildren: Allison Taulbee, husband Billy& great-grandchild Tegan; Tyler &Tanner Mullins, Kyra Rose & Chris Jokisch. Surviving siblings are sisters, Norma Neal, Sarah Cruise& brother, Curtis Cruise all of Northern Virginia. Mrs. Rose graduated from Clinchco High School in 1955, attended Bluefield Business College then worked at Erwin Supply before becoming a wife & mother of five. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at the Rose Family Cemetery on Caney Ridge at 4:00 pm with the Reverend Joe Glenn Sluss officiating.
