Emma Sue Fields age 81, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020 at Norton Community Hospital, Norton, Virginia.  Mrs. Fields was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and attended Counts Chapel Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Fields was preceded in death by her parents, Chub and Lizza Belle Price; longtime companion, Elmer Rasnick; several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include 3 sons, James Fields and Lois of Clintwood, Conley Trigg Aaron Fields and Dennis of Kingsport, Tennessee and Jeffery Wayne Fields and LaDonna of Lincolnton, North Carolina; 2 daughters, Emily Sue Branham of Clinchco and Millie Ann Mullins and Charlie of Wise; 1 brother, Jim Price of Cedar Bluff, Virginia; 1 sister, Betty Sudano of Margate, Florida; 7 grandchildren;  several nieces, nephews and other relatives; special friends, Beulah Worley, Catherine Clay and health care aid, Becky Hackney.

Funeral services will be held in the Clintwood Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, January 8 ^th at 6 pm with Paul Rose officiating.  Visitation will begin at 4 pm. Family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home Thursday, January 9 ^th at 12:30 pm to proceed to Grace Cemetery at Counts Chapel, Neely Ridge for a graveside service at 1 pm.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
