Stacy Lee Anderson, age 79, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Anderson was born in Dickenson County and was a 1955 graduate of Clintwood High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army, was in the Special Services Division of the Georgetown Police Department, Washington, DC and retired from Eastman Kodak, Long View Texas. Mr. Anderson was a member of the Kingsport Tennessee Masonic Lodge #688 for 48 years and a member of the Welcome Independent Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Violet Anderson. Survivors include his wife, Audrey Anderson of Jenkins, Kentucky; two sons, Danny Anderson and wife Sudarat of Las Vegas, Nevada and Stacy Darrell Anderson and wife Stella of Omaha, Nebraska; daughter, Rebecca Lynn Anderson of Tucson, Arizona; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; one sister, Martha Baker and husband Donald of Clintwood, Virginia. Family will receive friends Monday, May 18, 2015 in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 6:00 pm. A Masonic service will be conducted at 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 19, at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 am with Joe Glenn Sluss and Lynn Vanover officiating. Burial will follow at the Peuther Chapel Cemetery with VFW 8979 military honors. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
