Shelby Jean Martin Killen went home to be with our Heavenly Father Tuesday, December 29, 2015.  Shelby was born in Clinchco, VA on December 3, 1936.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Mildred Counts Martin; sisters, Brenda O'Brien, and Loretta Ritchie.

Shelby is survived by M. Kerry Killen, her loving, and devoted husband of 58 years; children, Sherri Killen, K. Alan Killen, Kimberley King, and Jennifer Dilmore; brothers, Dwight Martin, and Michael Ashworth; 12 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

She will be remembered as a devout Christian who loved serving the Lord in every aspect of her life.  Her devotion to her country and family was unwavering, and we are all blessed to have had her in our lives.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 5 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Clintwood Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 6 at 11:00 AM in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at the family cemetery on Nealy Ridge.  Pallbearers are K. Alan Killen, Rodney Dilmore, Jarrod Killen, Phillip King, Sean Killen, and Garrett Dilmore.
