Sharon Elizabeth Collier age 63 passed away Friday November 8, 2019 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born in McRoberts, Kentucky the daughter of the late Avis and Anna Faye Maggard. Prior to moving to Clintwood she lived in Pound and Big Stone Gap, Virginia. She was of the Christian Faith and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Preceding her in death are her parents and one brother Randall Maggard.

Survivors include her husband Robert Collier, Clintwood, two sons; Chris Baker and wife Michelle, Clintwood, Brian Baker and wife Melanie of Duffield; two brothers, Ronald Maggard and wife Julie, and Darren Maggard both of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, J.T. Fleming, Jarrod Baker, Matthew Baker, and great grandchild Paislee Fleming.

Funeral Services for Sharon Elizabeth Collier will be conducted at 12 Noon Monday November 11, 2019 in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joe Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens, Big Stone Gap, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends.  The family will receive friends from 11 AM till service time. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospitals or the American Cancer Society.
