Sally Loraine Stanley, age 80, passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 at Holston Valley Hospital, Kingsport, Tennessee.  Mrs. Stanley was born in Beckley, West Virginia and lived in Clintwood all her life.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Stanley was preceded by her parents, Montina Kelley Bryant and Hattie and Will Kelley; her husband Burl Stanley;  daughter, Jean Stiltner; one sister, Gladys Nolen.

Survivors include her daughter Frances Edwards and husband, Larry, son Danny Stanley and wife, Marlene, son Freddie Stanley and wife, Peggy and daughter Lori Powers and husband, Jimmie all of Clintwood; ten grandchildren, Billy Stiltner, Christy Rasnake, Lisa Deel, Danny Stanley, Renee Davis, Crystal Stanley, Tim Powers, Larry Edwards, Jr., Heather Lynch and Josh Stanley; 13 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special sister-in-law Zetta Stanley; close friend, Frank Mullins who held a special place in her heart.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 14th at 3:00 PM in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Price and Jeffrey Houck officiating.  Burial will follow in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family members.  The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 PM until time of service.
