Ruth Marie Yates age 74, passed away October 25, 2019 at Heritage Hall, Grundy, Virginia.  Mrs. Yates was a member of Paw Paw Old Regular Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Annie Baker husband, Edward Yates and father-in-law, Elder Lewis Yates.

Mrs. Yates is survived by a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 6 PM, Saturday, October 26 ^th at Russell Prater Old Regular Baptist Church. Services will be held at 7 PM with Elders Terry O'Quinn, Denny Deel, Jackie Yates and Andy Deel officiating.  Funeral services will be Sunday, October 27 ^th, 11 AM, at the church.  Burial will follow in Yates Cemetery located on the right hand fork of Greenbrier.
