Ruby Martin age 82, passed away Thursday, June 6 ^th , 2019 at her residence.  Miss Martin was a lifelong resident of Martin Town. She was of the Baptist faith and a helping hand to many.  Miss Martin was retired from Lebanon Apparel.  She was a loving sister and an avid baseball fan.

Miss Martin was preceded in death by her parents, Con and Ollie Martin; 7 brothers, Kermit, Ben, Doc, Herbert Hoover, Emory, Alton, and Gilmer Martin; 5 sisters, Virgie Meade, Delphia Powers, Phyllis Barton, Wilma Jean Martin and Myrtle Hartsock.

Survivors include 3 sisters, Shirley Taylor and Dixie Dishman of Dante, Virginia, Vada Adkins and husband Ervin of Westland, Michigan; special niece and caregiver, Lisa Brown; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 10 ^th at 10 AM in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 11 AM with Darrell Milgrim officiating.  Burial will follow at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia.  Pallbearers are Mark Taylor, Steve Austin, Wade Holbrook, Jeff Martin, Ervin Adkins and Bryan Hubbard.
