Rosetta Rose Perry age 78, passed away Sat. April 15, 2023 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Caney Ridge the daughter of the late Emory and Edith Rose. She was attended Rachels Chapel Church, loved time spent with family and friends. A loving wife, mother and grandmother she loved cooking large meals for family get togethers.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Hurley L. Perry, son Johnny Lee Perry, daughter Betty Sue Kennedy, great grandchild Cassidy Elswick, along with 5 brothers.

Survivors include her son, Wayne Perry and wife Annie, Coeburn, VA;  granddaughter, Elizabeth Jane Kennedy Reynolds; grandsons, Wes Elswick and Cossie Elswick; great grandchildren, Rachel Evon Reynolds, Kaeleb Elswick and Gavin Elswick; a step son William Perry and wife Wanda, two step grandchildren Aleta and Heather, three step great grandchildren Christopher, Gabriella and Brett David II, step daughter Margaret Baker,step grandchildren Teresa, Halena and Jessica, several step great grandchildren, sisters, Shirley Perrigan, Norton, VA, Dolly Scott, Coeburn, VA , Bonnie Rose, St. Paul, VA , Lucille Mullins, Coeburn, VA and Atlas Mullins, Coeburn, VA; along with nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Rosetta Rose Perry will be conducted from the graveside, Rose Cemetery, Rock House Road, 2 PM, Wed. April 19, 2023, with Willie Stanley officiating. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
