Robert Stacy Lockhart, age 85, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Prince William Medical Center in Manassas, VA.

He was born on June 6, 1937, in Clintwood, VA to the late Satchie Beulah Lockhart. Following graduation from high school, Robert served in the United States Air Force before settling in a career with the 7-11 Corporation where he retired from at the age of 55.

He loved gospel music, flowers, doing puzzles, and making and showing his many photo albums. Additionally, he enjoyed picnics in the park, fishing, family vacations, and above all, he loved piddling around.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Wilma Ann Vanover Lockhart; their children, Derick Scott Lockhart, Sherrie Elaine Lockhart-Smith, Terry Wayne (Mary Mbeng) Lockhart, Cindy Elisa (John Michael) Tompkins; their grandchildren, Dana Sue Hamil, Jason Carter Lockhart, Stacey Ann Jacques, Wendy Marie Jacques, Frazier Frank Wayne Smith, Nevaeh Stacey Ann Lockhart, Matthew John Tompkins, and Joshua Scott Tompkins; ten great grandchildren, a sister, Tenny Jo Hill and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will gather for a Visitation on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas, VA 20110. Funeral Services will be held 1PM on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Clintwood Colley Funeral Home, 202 McClure Ave., Clintwood, VA 24228, with Pastor Lynn Vanover officiating, Burial will follow at Lockhart Cemetery, Fox Town Rd., Clintwood, VA 24228. The family will receive friends from noon till service time.
