Robert Lee Kennedy, 57, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Mr. Kennedy was a graduate of Ervinton High School, and had a love for hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Lola Kennedy; and sister, Melissa Whitt. Survivors include brother, Brian Kennedy of Clintwood, VA; sisters, Linda huff and husband Jimmy of Clinchco, VA; Glenda Stanley and husband Kyle; and Teresa Booker and husband Billy of Clintwood, VA; nephews, Dustin Kennedy, and Travis Stanley; nieces, Amanda Whitt, Angela Stanley, and Alexis Huff; great-nephews, Jace Pratt, and Mason Hackney. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 PM Sunday, March 8, 2015 in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Jack Taylor officiating. Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM until time of service. Graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, March 9, 2015 in Phipps Memorial Cemetery Clintwood, VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Those wishing to go in procession to the cemetery are asked to meet at 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
