Rita Jo Delaney age 63 passed away at her home Saturday Feb. 7, 2009 after a brief illness. She was born Oct. 12, 1945 in Dickenson County the daughter of the late Lonzie and Mary Lou Blanset Lyall of Clintwood. She is preceded in death by two brothers Aubry and Roy Lyall, three sister in laws Maggie, Janet, Carla and Betty Lyall and one grandchild Trista Wallace. Rita was a very loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Surviving are her loving Husband Mac Arthur Delaney, daughter Miranda Elizabeth Delaney of Clintwood, Her son Donald E. Wallace and wife April of Huntington,WV. Three grandchildren Daniel Wallace and wife Christy, Wise, VA., Ashlea Wallace, Winfield, WV. And Brittanie Wallace of Wayne WV. Two great grandchildren Skylar Ray Wallace and Jordan Rose Wallace of Wise, VA. , Four brothers; Palmer Lyall and wife Zetta, Alvin Lyall, Billy Lyall and wife Catherine all of Clintwood and Raybon Lyall of Dunfrees, VA. As well as a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
