Richard Marvin Morris, age 50, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, Tennessee. Mr. Morris was a member of Hope Freewill Baptist Church and had attended Clintwood Baptist Church. He was a resident of Clintwood for many years and loved fishing, wood working and auto mechanics. Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his mother, Eula Mae Killen Morris and grandparents Reverend Marvin and Georgia Killen. Survivors are his wife Pamela Morris; special aunt, Linda Killen; two nieces, Beth Lawrence and Brittany Moore; great-nieces, Olivia and Gracie Mae; special companion "Cooper"; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 4th ,7:00 pm in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Price officiating. The family will receive friends after 6:00 pm. Family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home at 10:30 am on Sunday, January 5th, to proceed to Phipps Memorial Cemetery for graveside services. Pallbearers will be Doug McKenzie, Lilton Estep, James O. Mullins, Scott Mullins, Chris Mullins and Johnny Frazier. Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Boggs, Keven Mullins, Howie Davis, Shelley Branham, Denver Kelly and Dr. Bernie Sergent.
