NEW DAY FOR FUNERAL Rena Colleen Schneider, age 59, passed away Thursday, Sept. 1st 2011 at her home in Clintwood, after a bravely fought battle with cancer. Mrs. Schneider was born March 4, 1952, the daughter of the late Eulis and Lois Castle Mullins. She was a former employee of the Meade Paper Company and was of the Christian Faith. She is survived by her sons; Brian Schneider Fredericksburg, Virginia and Greg Schneider of Manassas, Virginia; two brothers Colin Mullins, Alexandria, Virginia and Allen Mullins, Quincy, Florida; one sister Valarie Hires, Bluntstown, Florida; three grandchildren, Brandon Schneider, Johnathan Schneider and Harley Schneider. Special family members Gwen and Mike Yates, James Hayes and Debbie Sue Kellough, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Special care givers Bob and Pav Hall, Stephanie Bentley, Lechelle Senter and Suzanne Wells. Funeral services for Rena C. Schneider will be conducted at 12:00 noon Monday Sept. 5, 2011 at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Mark B. Powers officiating. Burial will follow at the Powers Family Cemetery, Powers Branch Road, Clintwood. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends after 11:00 AM Monday morning at Clintwood Funeral Home until service time.
