Regina Marie Patterson age 44, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020, at her residence.  Mrs. Patterson was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and graduated from Clintwood High School in 1993.  She was a member of Martins Chapel, where she taught Sunday School.  Mrs. Patterson was a teacher with the Dickenson County Head Start Program. She was preceded in death by her parents, Farrell Reed and Anna McCoy Reed and a step-sister, Jessica Bolling.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph "Bo" Patterson, Jr.; 2 sons, Carl Patterson of Stoney Point, NC and Daniel Patterson of Clinchco; her daughter, Miranda Kilgore and Josh of Big Stone Gap; step-mother, Arlene Reed of Clintwood; 2 brothers, Farrell Douglas Reed and Deirdra of Clintwood and step-brother, Waylon Bolling also of Clintwood; 2 sisters, Carlotta Hawkins and Ross, Rita Ramey and Richard, all of Clintwood.

Family will receive friends Thursday, June 18 ^th , beginning at 5 pm in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. A song service will begin at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 19 ^th, 1 pm, at the funeral home, with Eddie Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Sowards Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The services will be held under the current guidelines set forth by the governor of Virginia.
