Obituary

Reba Jean Clay age 78 passed away Wed. April 12, 2023 at the Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, TN. She was born in Dickenson County and relocated to Hampton, Virginia. She worked in the manufacturing industry of Hampton. After retirement she moved back home to the Clinchco area where she enjoyed time with family and friends along with fishing. She was of the Christian Faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents James and Hazel Fleming, her husband Bobby Clay, a daughter Glenda Moore, one brother William Fleming and a sister Mary Crabtree.

Survivors include her sons; Keith Clay of Newport News, VA. Douglas Clay Clinchco, VA and Ricky Clay of Hampton, VA. one brother Ray Fleming of McClure, VA and one sister Evelyn Carmine and husband Charles of Maryland. Ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren along with host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services for Reba Jean Clay will be conducted at 7 PM Sunday April 16, 2023 Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5 PM till service time. A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon on Monday April 17, 2023 at the Rasnick Family Cemetery Bise Ridge Community of Caney Ridge with Bill Rose officiating, Pallbearers will be Family and Friends. Procession to cemetery will meet at Clintwood Funeral Home at 11:30 AM.
