Reatha Sue Hibbitts, age 81, passed away Friday, January 6, 2012 at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tennessee. Mrs. Hibbitts was born in Wise County to the late Hibbert and Elizabeth Mullins. She was a member of the Georges Fork Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Houston Mullins. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Gerald Hibbitts, Sr.; two sons, Gerald Hibbitts, Jr., Carl Hibbitts and wife Mary Lou all of Clintwood; three daughters, Betty Hibbitts, Judy Perrigan and husband Gary of Clintwood, Virginia and Janice Hibbitts and fiancé Dan Carroll both of Kingsport, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Tommy Boyd, Jeffrey Boyd, Vickie Hall and husband Johnny, Chris Greear, Matthew Greear and wife Amanda, Laura Lyall and husband Eric, Robert Perrigan and wife Jennifer; eight great grandchildren, April Hall, Anthony Greear, Dallas Greear, Logan Greear, Caden Perrigan, Alex Lyall, Seth Lyall and Evan Lyall. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday, January 9, 2012 in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Harold Mullins and Greg Stanley officiating. Burial will follow at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Robert Perrigan, Eric Lyall, Tommy Boyd, Jeffrey Boyd, Johnny Hall, Chris Greear and Matthew Greear. The family will receive friends after 6:00 pm Sunday, January 8 at Clintwood Funeral Home where an evening service will begin at 7:00 pm.
