Randy L. McCoy age 68, passed away Wed. November 8, 2023 at his home. He was the son of the late Walter and Martha Jane McCoy, a 1973 graduate of Clintwood High School and employee of Applachian Power Company for forty years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who cared for all his family. Randy through out years helped many from power outages to coaching little league baseball, He loved the outdoors hunting, fishing, Horses and riding motorcycle with his family. He was known for his lawn mowing, weed trimming and beautiful lawn.

He is survived by his wife Debbie Mullins McCoy, a daughter Brandy Hill and husband Waylon, one Son Ryan McCoy, three grandsons Christopher Thomas, Colton McCoy and Morgan Hill, a granddaughter Cassidy Thomas, two brothers; Steve McCoy and wife Wilma, Carol Wayne McCoy and wife Mary, Nieces Julie  McCoy Watts and Wayne, Caitlyn McCoy Stanley and Garrett, Nephews Logan Jonus and Katie, and Andy Jonus, Great nieces Avery Stanley and Annison Jonus, Great nephews Dayton Stanley and Luke Watts. In laws mother in law in which he cared for dearly Barbara Mullins, Sister laws, Peggy Jonus and Troy and Nancy Phillips and Clynis, Along with a host of other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive friends with visitation from 5 till 7 PM Sunday November 12, 2023 at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 7 PM. Officiating will be Lester Mullins and Steve McCoy officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Rodney Fleming, Randy W. Mullins, Ricky C. Mullins, Bobby Mullins, Jr. and Employees of American Electric Power.  There will be a private graveside.
