Phyllis Jean Mullins age 72, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016. Mrs. Mullins was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and was of the Baptist faith. She retired from Longs Fork Elementary School Cafeteria and was a loving mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Mullins was preceded in death by her parents, Jethro and Draxie Mullins, one brother, Jessie Mullins and her sister, Shirley Mullins.

Survivors include her husband, Tennie Mullins of Clintwood; two sons, Jeff Mullins and wife Melissa and Terry Mullins all of Clintwood; her daughter, Connie Mullins and fiancé Alan Ryburn of Meadowview, Virginia; two brothers Nelson Mullins and wife Dixie, Billy Mullins and wife Cheri all of Goshen, Indiana; four sisters, Marcella Mullins and husband Don of Kingsport, Tennessee, Margie Kendrick, Rosella McFall and husband Dempsey all of Clintwood, Pauline Cook of Northern Virginia; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 28th at 6:00 PM in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 7:00 PM with Pastor Lynn Vanover officiating. Family and friends are requested to meet at Allen Mullins Cemetery, Longs Fork Community at 1:00 PM, Thursday,  December 29 th for graveside services. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
