Phillip Garod Mullins age 32, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Dickenson Community Hospital, due to injuries related to a motorcycle accident. Phillip was a 2005 graduate of Ervinton High School.  He was of the Baptist faith and attended Emmanuel Baptist Church and Hill Ridge Freewill Baptist Church.  Phillip was a loving husband, son, brother and grandson.  He loved his dogs and farm animals.  Phillip worked as a building contractor and was a friend to many.

Survivors include his wife, Ashley Mullins of Clintwood; father and mother, Teddy and Darlene Mullins of Clintwood; his sister, Elissa Danielle Mullins of Clintwood; grandparents, Darrell and Patsy Hill of Clintwood, Thurl and Joyce Mullins of Crossville, Tennessee; mother-in-law, Linda Hayes and sister-in-law, Erica Hayes both of Coeburn; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family will receive friends Thursday, June 13 ^th , at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel from 5 PM until 7PM.  Funeral services will begin at 7PM with Keith Dotson officiating.  Family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home at 1:30 pm on Friday, June 14 ^th , to proceed to Hill Ridge Cemetery for graveside services at 2 PM.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers are Jim Hill and Justin Greear.
