Peggy Sue
Yates
d. Feb 23, 2018
I Peggy Sue Fuller Yates was the third child born to Frank C. Fuller, Sr. and to Kitty Fuller in Clinchco, Virginia. I had an older brother Ronald H. Fuller, Sr. who preceded me in death leaving a wife Carole. I am survived by my sisters Lois Fuller Dingus Haynes and husband Eddie and Dorothy Fuller Burns and husband James and a brother Frank C. Fuller. Jr. and wife Brenda.
I graduated from Clintwood High School and soon afterwards I started work. During that time, I met a tall, wonderful, young man, Olin Yates. Shortly afterwards he and I were married. We moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where we resided until our retirement. After retirement we chose to return to the Yates family farm.
Olin has preceded me in death by 5 years. I am survived by Olin's sister and brother, Evelyn and Guy Yates, also, numerous nieces and nephews.
Olin and I truly loved our church family and I enjoyed working with the GA's, watching the girls mature into Godly young women. We, also, enjoyed our many years working with the people at Feeding American, Dickenson County Food Bank.
The past several years I am most grateful for the love and companionship I have established with Joyce Dotson, Patsy Salyers and Pat Tompkins.
Now I am safely home in heaven at last. There is still work waiting for you, do it now while life remains. When your work is all completed you can rest in Gods land, when he gently calls you home. Looking forward to seeing you there.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 28, 2018 beginning at Noon in the Clintwood Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM with Pastor Joe Hutchinson officiating. Anyone wishing to attend entombment services meet at 3:30 PM in the Chapel of Love, Temple Hill Memorial Gardens, Castlewood, Virginia. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
