Peggy Rose Stanley passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Ridgecrest Manor in Duffield, Virginia. Peggy was a lifelong resident of Clintwood and graduated from Clintwood High School. She graduated from Bristol Business College, worked at Dominion Bank and retired from the Dickenson County Voter Registrar office. She loved music and spending time with family and friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Tandy and Alma Rose, first husband, Jackie Hill and stepdaughter, Crystal Stanley.

Upon the death of her mother and father, Peggy lived with her aunt and uncle, Goldie and Paris Mullins.

Survivors include her husband, Freddie Stanley; four step grandsons, Dalton, Logan, Coby and Cameron; a very special cousin/sister, Doris Jane Stanley; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be held Friday, January 26th, 6:30 pm at Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Mullins officiating. Visitation will begin at 5 pm.
