Peggy Sue Mullins age 87, passed away Monday, August 24, 2026, at her residence. Mrs. Mullins was born in Elkhorn City, Kentucky to the late John Henry and Grace Rowe Mullins. After working many years at Clintwood High School cafeteria, she retired from the Dickenson County School System. Mrs. Mullins attended the Pine Creek Church and Philadelphia Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and was a friend to all.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mullins was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Allen Mullins; daughter, Margaret Aleta Mullins; brothers, Jackie and Teddy Mullins; sister, Patsy Ryan.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Megan Stanley Mullins of Clintwood and Anthony Fackler of Bristol, Virginia; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Hemphill and Naudia, Tristin Mullins, Natalie Fackler, Johanna Fackler and Ayden Mullins; brothers, Mike Mullins and Rita of Clintwood, Johnny Woodrow Mullins and Patti of Martinsville, Virginia; sisters, Joann Chase of Wytheville, Virginia and Jena Mullins of Wise, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 27th, 7 pm at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel, with Gabe Johnson officiating. Visitation will begin at 6 pm. Please meet on Friday, August 28th at the Stanley Family Cemetery, John Dane Lane, Clintwood, for a graveside service beginning at 1 pm. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
