Pauline Vanover, Daughter of Victor and Elizabeth Vanover, was born in Clintwood Virginia on September 10, 1929. She passed into eternity on April 8, 2010. She graduated from Dickenson Memorial High School, Class of 1947. She attended Lincoln Memorial University and was a graduate of Smithdeal-Massey Business College in Richmond, Virginia. She worked in Michigan as a private secretary for the Chrysler Missile Operation, and later the Budd Company as a private secretary in the Chemical and Metallurgical Laboratory. She was married and had two sons, Ronald who died in 1977, and Vincent. She lived in Denver, Colorado 19 years, and there she returned to college. She moved to South Florida in 1980, and at the time of her death she was living in Delray Beach, Florida. She owned a home next door to her son and family. She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth, who died in 1969, her father Victor, who died in 1981, her only brother Troy Lee, who died in 1984, and her only sister Lietta, who died in 2002. She is survived by her son Vincent, daughter-in-law Terrie, and her grandchildren Victor and Angelique Elizabeth. Also her brother-in-law Haskel Lambert, two nephews Danny Lambert, and Richard Vanover. Three nieces Linda Bennett, Judy Jane Lockhart, and Bridget Thornburg. Five great nephews and three great nieces. Pauline enjoyed her life and was always happy and smiling. With great pride she always talked about the wonderful people she knew in Clintwood, the people she went to school with, and how proud she was to have grown up in Clintwood. Pauline was a devoted mother, grandmother, friend, and aunt. She will be missed until we are together again. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
