Obituary

Pauline Looney Stiltner, 79, passed away Friday, September 11, 2015 at Pikeville Medical Center following a brief illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late Parkis and Sylvia Looney. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and a member of Russell Prater Old Regular Baptist Church. Pauline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved family gatherings, traveling, and her grandkids were the love of her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Keithel Clevinger, one son, Donald (Jerry) Clevinger; one daughter, Bonnie Lou Clevinger; one sister, Orie Ramey; three brothers, Buster Looney, Curtis Looney, and Virgil Looney.John E. Stiltner her second husband. She is survived by her five sons, Delbert Corbett Clevinger of Smyth County, VA; Hensley Clevinger of Conaway, Denver Clevinger of Bristol, Kiethel Clevinger of Russell Prater; one stepdaughter, Carol Johnson and her son David Johnson of Grundy; seven stepsons, Mark Stiltner of Grundy; Jerry Stiltner and wife Bonnie of Detroit Michigan; Leo Stiltner and wife Jean of Detroit MI; Sandy Stiltner and wife Sharon of Defiance OH; Rex Stiltner and wife Mary of Detroit MI; Joe Stiltner of San Francisco CA; and Robert Earl Stiltner of Clintwood; sisters, Mary Viers, of Russell Prater, Emma Jean Clevinger and husband Herb of Grundy; Violet Clevinger and husband Amil of Little Prater; and Juanita Clevinger and husband Ernie of Tazewell; two brothers, Ray Looney and wife Susan, of Conaway; and Ben Looney and wife Helen of Mouthcard Ky. Several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. Funeral Services for Pauline Looney Stiltner will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Bull Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Elders Earl Dean Yates, Roger Coleman, and Toy Looney officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Clevinger, Aaron Clevinger, Donnie Clevinger, Kenderick Clevinger, Virgil Hurley, and Leon Ramey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Hazel Byers, Ashley Hackney, Liz Hurley, Brenda Clevinger, Austin Clevinger, Staff of Mercy Ambulance Service, and Pikeville Medical Center. Visitation will be held beginning at 6:00 PM Monday, September 14, 2015 at Bull Creek Old regular Baptist Church where a service will be held at 7:00.
