Pansey K. Phipps, 72, of Clintwood, VA passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County, retired from Dickenson County Health Department, a faithful member of Pine Creek Freewill Baptist Church, and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rolley and Nora Phipps Kelley; two brothers, Cecil and Carl Kelley; and one sister, Bessie Kelley.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Kyle Phipps of Clintwood, VA; sons, Bobby Davis and wife Lisa of Sarasota FL, Bryant Keith Davis and wife Joan of Clintwood, VA, and Greg Phipps of Norfolk, VA; brothers, Edward Kelley of Wise, VA, Kenneth Kelley and wife Betty of Tazewell, VA, Allen Kelley and wife Lucy of Lebanon, VA, Blaine Kelley and wife Shirley of Clintwood, VA, and James Kelley and wife Phyllis of Clintwood, VA; sisters, Catherine Cox and husband Danny of Millboro, VA, Mary Edith Counts of Clintwood, VA, and Vonda Ann Walsh and husband Cliff of Lexington, VA; six grandchildren, Jonah, Micha, Logan, Lucas, Wyatt, and Kaulin; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Pansey K. Phipps will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016 in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Frank Hall and Manie Strouth officiating. Burial will follow at the Phipps Family Cemetery Fairview Road Clintwood. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Visitation will be held beginning at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Clintwood Funeral Home with a service at 7:00 p.m.
