Nina Lou Blevins, age 66, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Blevins was a life long resident of Dickenson County. She was of the Freewill Baptist faith and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Blevins was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Edna Mullins, husband, Cecil Blevins, five brothers, four sisters and in-laws, Cumbo and Pearl Blevins. Survivors include three sons, Jackie Blevins, Joe Blevins and wife, Farrah all of Clintwood, Nicholas Blevins and fiancée, Terra Johnson of 29 Palms California; two daughters, Annette Smith and husband Michael and Camellia McFall and husband Shawn all of Clintwood; one brother, Delzie Mullins of Dungannon, Virginia; grandchildren, Samantha and Kristin Smith, Cheyenne and Connor Blevins, Belle Johnson; special caregivers and friends, Nan Edwards and Kim Coleman. A graveside service will be conducted, Sunday, July 15, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at the Kennedy Cemetery on Caney Ridge with Greg Cyphers officiating. Family and friends are requested to meet at Clintwood Funeral Home Sunday at 12:30 p.m. to proceed to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Moore, Nick Lewis, Jeff Kennedy, Dustin Hammons, Ryan Lyle and Nicholas Blevins. Family will receive friends, Saturday, July 14, after 6:00 p.m. in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel, where a song service will begin at 7:00 p.m.
