On April 17th Nellie Branham passed away in the comfort of her home in Coeburn, Virginia. She was born on June 14, 1939, passing at the age of 70. Nellie was surrounded by members of her loving family, one of which being her dedicated husband of 55 years, Curtis Branham, who never left her side. Mrs. Branham was preceded in death by her parents, Fletcher and Myrtle Little Rose, one daughter, Lolita Collins and two great grandchildren, Courtney and Michelle Stanley. She is survived by her husband, Curtis Branham and children; Special Combatant Craft Crewman Chief/SBC Lonnie Joe Branham and wife Angie of Virginia Beach, James Branham and wife Tammy of Clintwood, Donald Branham and Donnie Branham of Coeburn, Mary Rose and husband Mike of Pound. Myrba McCaskill , Wilma Stanley and husband Mike, Glemia Walker and husband Mark all of Wise. Other survivors include twenty four grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was of the Christian faith and will be joining her family and friends in heaven. Nellie will be sincerely missed by each and every one of her friends and family members. You will always be in our thoughts and alive in our hearts. We love and miss you with every passing second. Funeral services will be conducted at the residence April 20th, at 1:00 PM with the Reverend Robert Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow at the Curtis Branham Family Cemetery. Family members well serve as pallbearers. Family will receive friends Sunday and Monday at 7: 00 PM.
