Mildred Mullins age 94, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023.

Mrs. Mullins was a longtime resident of Dickenson County and Glade Spring, Virginia, before residing with her daughter in Monrovia.  She faithfully attended the Old Regular Baptist Church and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Mrs. Mullins was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Mullins, by her parents William Bertie and Ruth Rakes, and one sister Irene Counts, and two baby brothers.

Survivors include one son, Richard Mullins and wife Rosie of Salem, Virginia; one daughter, Bonnie Mullins Andrews and husband Jack of Monrovia, Maryland; grandchildren, Scott Mullins (Jessica), Amanda Mullins, John Andrews (Megan), Josh Andrews (Monica), seven great grandchildren; three sisters, Gaynelle McCoy, Anita Adkins, Lorraine Triplett; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 2, 2023, in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 12:00.  Funeral services will follow at 1:00.  Burial will follow in the Rakes Family Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.  Special thanks for all those who have offered prayers and remembered the family during this difficult time.
