Mickey R. Bruner age 61 passed away Saturday Sept. 24, 2016 at his home. He was born the son of the late Perry and Annie Carico Bruner in Church Hill, TN. Lived most of his life in Dickenson County. He was of the Baptist Faith, Loving Husband, Brother, Father and Grandfather.  He was an employee of JWT Well Service. Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Luther and James Bruner and a grandson Tanner Sisson.

Survivors include his wife Patricia Bruner, a son Terry McCowan all of Coeburn, three daughters; Candice Plaugher and husband Randy, Front Royal, VA., Misty Sisson and husband Richard and Amillia Bruner all of Coeburn, VA.  Five Brothers Ronnie Bruner and wife Janelle of Kingsport, TN., David Bruner and wife Mary of Coeburn, VA., Gary Bruner and wife Iris of Chicago, IL., Keith Bruner and wife Suzy of High Point, NC., and Jared Bruner and wife Betty of Coeburn, VA. Two sisters Areatha Powers and husband Randy of Ceoburn, VA. And Arnelda Hale and husband Jack of Frankfort, KY. Three Grandchildren Alex Howard, Lexie Howard and Ceara Sisson.  Along with a host of other relatives and friends.  The family would like to thank all who have been a help to them.

Funeral Services for Mickey Bruner will be conducted at 7:00 PM Monday September 26, 2016 at the New Mapel Grove Church, Sandy Ridge, VA. With Stacy Vanover, Les Ritchie and Mike Owens officiating.
