. Mavis Marie Cole, 84, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Tazewell, Virginia. Mrs. Cole was born in Dunbar, Virginia. She was a graduate of Dickenson County Memorial High School and a retired realtor. Mrs. Cole was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Dusty Messer and Doris Shields. Survivors include her husband, Glenn Cole of North Tazewell, Virginia; her son Mike Georgeau of Florida; one step son Phillip Georgeau, Kalamazoo Michigan; one brother, Robert Messer, Jr. of Farmington Hills, Michigan; five grandchildren Amanda Georgeau, Mike Georgeau, Jr., Sarah Bernheisel, Jennifer Brownell and Samatha Georgeau. A song service will be held Thursday, May 1st at 7:00 pm at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Union City, Michigan May 5th, at 11:00 pm.
