Maude Ann Baker Gilliam Mullins age 83, passed away Monday August 21, 2017 at the home of her brother, with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Mullins was a former employee of Wise Appalachian Hospital Hospital, Baker Funeral Home of Pound, Virginia and retired from Wise County Health Department.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Mullins was preceded in death by her parents, Anderville and Sadie Baker; husbands, E.C. Gilliam and Thurman Mullins; 3 sisters, Nixsola (Nick) Ring, Dorsey Baker, and Nell Gentry; 6 brothers, Elmer Baker, Hobert Baker, Veldon Baker, Bob Baker, Conley Baker, and Kermit Baker.

Survivors include 4 brothers, Clay (Phyliss) Baker of Pound, Virginia, Arnold (Patsy) Baker of Wise, Virginia, John W. ( Donna) Baker of Knoxville, Tennessee and Jerry Baker of Pound, Virginia; 1 sister, June (Roger) Mullins of Pound, Virginia.
