Mary Ellen Rose age 54, passed Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and a loving Mother and Grandmother.

Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by her sister Joann Barnette and grandson Connor Green.

Survivors include her parents, Willard and Mary Skeens of Clinchco, Virginia; her companion Mack Green of Clintwood; daughters, Amanda Robinson and husband Jarvie of Clintwood, Jolene Watson and husband Jim of Chilhowie, Virginia; sons, Jerry Green and wife Talor of Clintwood, Russell Green and Amy of Asheville, North Carolina; brothers, Lee Skeens and wife May and James Skeens all of Clinchco; one sister, Tammy Yates and husband Fred of Clinchco; grandchildren, Cade Watson, Hannah Robinson, Serenity LaForce, Alillionna Green, Shasta Green, Gabe Robinson and Jaxon Green.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm Sunday, March 6 in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm with Greg Cyphers officiating. Burial will be in the Fleming Green Cemetery on Hill Ridge. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
