Mary Lois Mullins, age 86, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025, surrounded by her family, at Pikeville Medical Center. She was a member of Valley View Freewill Baptist Church.

Mrs. Mullins was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Ray Mullins; son Gayland Mullins; parents, Freeling and Dussie Mullins; brothers, Alcieberry Mullins and Alger Mullins.

Survivors include her daughter Darlene Vance and husband Chris; two sons, Wayland Mullins and wife Regina and Roland Mullins; grandchildren, Hailey Pasque and husband  Cooper, Ethan Ray Mullins, Hannah Robinson and husband McKenna; step-grandson, Justin Edwards; step-granddaughter Sidney Edwards; great-grandsons, Luke Pasque, Hudson Pasque, Benjamin Pasque and Henry Pasque; her special friends, Rose Branham, Becky Hughes, Debra Green and all her "phone" friends; her fur companions, Lucy and Sam.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the wonderful and caring staff of the ICU Unit at Pikeville Medical Center.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 21st at Valley View Freewill Baptist Church from 6 pm until 7 pm. A service will begin at 7 pm with Pastors Lynn Vanover and Matthew Fuller officiating.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 22nd, 11 am, at the church. Burial will follow at Newton Mullins Cemetery, Newton Mullins Road, Clintwood. Pallbearers are Ethan Mullins, Justin Edwards, Chris Vance and Darrell Green.
