Martha Lee Deel age 71, passed away Sunday Dec. 27, 2009 at the Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Bascome "Bear" and Hassie Tipton Deel, she is preceded in death by one sister Berry Suzy Deel. She was a life long resident of Clinchco, a member of the Mill Creek Free Will Baptist and a former employee of Longs Fork Elementary School. Survivors include Charlie Perry of Clinchco, Five daughters; Jenny Bloodgood and husband Dwayne, Donna Arnette and husband Andrew, Edith Fields and husband Fred, Charlette Perry and special friend Garland Proffit all of Clinchco, Anita Mullins of Clintwood, VA. Two sisters; Rosemary Deel and Leanna Blansett and husband Steve, all of Clintwood, VA. Her grandchildren are Garrett Arnette, Travis Bloodgood, John Blansett, Whitley Mullins, Brandon Fields and Michael Eden Fields. One great grandchild Paige Perkins. Funeral services for Martha Lee Deel will be conducted at 7 PM Wed. Dec. 30, 2009 at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Rasnick officiating. Friends may call after 6 PM at the Funeral Home. A memorial service for burial will be held at a later date.
