Margie Robinson Holmes age 88, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017. Ms. Holmes was a lifelong resident of Clintwood, a member of Clintwood Baptist Church and a retired banking loan officer.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Ms. Holmes was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Ethel Robinson and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Marty Holmes and wife Debbie and Mark Holmes all of Clintwood; grandchildren, Derek Holmes and wife Ashley of Bristol, Virginia and Chad Holmes and fiancee Tiffani of Norton, Virginia; great grandchildren, Graham Holmes, Ariel Holmes and Jayce Holmes; sister-in-law, Jean Robinson of Clintwood; several very dear nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 20th, 7:00 PM in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Burns Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 PM until time of service. Graveside services will be conducted Friday, July 21st, at 1:00 PM at the Phipps Memorial Cemetery.  Those wishing to follow in the processional to the cemetery should meet at Clintwood Funeral Home at 12:30 PM.  Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
