Loretta E. Robinson, age 71, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, Virginia. She was born in Tazewell, Tennessee and had lived in Clintwood since 1982. Mrs. Robinson was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, Doyal Robinson, her parents Millard and Elsie Snodgrass Buis, one son, Jason Doyal Robinson, one brother and two sisters. Survivors include three daughters; Doylene Heizman and husband Anthony of Radford, Virginia, Karen Harris and husband Joe of Radford, Virginia, Laura Lee and husband Mike of Christiansburg, Virginia; two sons, Lonnie Robinson and wife Sue of Radford, Virginia and Craig Robinson and wife Melissa of Clintwood. Other survivors include one brother and six sisters; eight grandchildren, Julia Walker, Michael Lee, Jessica Lewandoski, Christopher Ramrattan, Michael Lewandoski, Charles Lee, Brittany Robinson and Kaitlyn Lee; five great grandchildren, Nathaniel Lewandoski, Collin Pirdy, Tyler Walker, Kaylee Ramrattan, and Kellan Walker; special nephews, Walker Hoseapple, Tommy Ryans, and Ray Thomas and several other nieces, nephews and other relatives. A graveside service will be conducted, Sunday, October 9, 2011, 11:00 AM at the Layne Family Cemetery, Lick Fork section of Clintwood with Chris Ramrattan officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Anyone wishing to follow the procession to the cemetery meet at Clintwood Funeral Home at 10:30 AM. The family will receive friends after 6:00 PM Saturday evening in the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with a song service beginning at 7:00 PM.
