Lorene Beatrice Church Carter age75 passed away Sept. 5, 2006 at the home of her sister. She was the daughter of the late Elder Vollie and Virgie Vanover Church. She is preceded in death by her first husband Harrison Moore Jr. and her second husband Eugene Carter, one brother also precedes her in death Kendall Church. She was of the Primitive Baptist Faith and a member of the Pound Fork Church. She is survived by four daughters; Judy Daniels and husband Robert, Rita Ford and husband Jerry, Brenda Moore, Sharon Lear and husband John. Two sons Ben Moore and wife Lilly and Donald Moore and wife Donna. Five sisters; Nettie Riley, Edna Lester and husband Elder Hoey Lester, Velva Mullins and husband Bill, Ina Gene Hill and husband Shelton, Connie Sharon Mullins and husband Roger. Two brothers; Haster Church and wife Janet and Avery Church. Fifteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Lorene Carter will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday Sept. 7, at the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Elders Garnell Gilbert, Roger Fuller, Corbin Hampton and Elder Hoey Lester. Burial will follow in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery Main Street Clintwood, with Family and Friends serving as Pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 6:00 PM Wed. evening at the Clintwood Funeral Home with a service at 7 PM.
